Hi, I’m Xiăochá—a multidisciplinary designer from China, now based in Toronto. My name contains the word “chá” (茶), meaning tea—and maybe that’s why I’ve always been drawn to color, and to nature in all its hues. For me, design feels like travel: a journey through new sensations, palettes, and unexpected ideas. I create to feel connected—to a moment, a story, or someone on the other side of the screen.
My practice moves fluidly across branding, interactive design, and art direction. I love building tactile, sensory systems that speak across mediums—print, digital, spatial. It’s how I think: not in silos, but in containers of ideas waiting to unfold.
